Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how bysulee (“bysulee,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use our mobile applications distributed on Google Play and when you visit https://bysulee.com (the “Site”), including its language versions and subpages.

We are an independent developer based in the Republic of Korea.

Where data protection law uses the term “controller,” bysulee is the controller of personal data we process for our own purposes, except where a third party (such as Google) processes data as an independent controller under its own policy.

This Policy is written for users worldwide, including the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and the United States.

It is not legal advice and does not create rights beyond those required by applicable law.

2. Apps and services covered

This Policy applies to the apps listed below, to related in-app notices, and to the Site.

If an app shows a more specific notice, that notice applies together with this Policy.

If they conflict on a point, the more specific notice controls for that app, except where law requires otherwise.

3. Information we process

We design our apps so that gameplay data usually stays on your device.

We do not run a bysulee account system and we do not ask for your real name, government ID, phone number, or payment card details to use the core features.

1. Information you choose to provide
   • Support emails and attachments you send to us (for example to the address above), including whatever personal details you include in that message
   • Optional in-app inputs that remain on your device
   • For Round Block: a display name (nickname) used only for local ranks
2. Information stored on your device (not sent to bysulee servers)

   Round Block may keep the following locally:

   • Display name
   • Local rank rows (best combo, average tap time, timestamp in your device time zone)
   • Reminder on/off and hour
   • First-run notice confirmation
   • Display language preference
3. Other apps

   Settings, favorites, generated results, or progress needed for the feature set stay local unless we later add a server feature and update this Policy.

4. Display names and GDPR/UK GDPR

   A display name may still be personal data even if it never leaves your phone. You can delete it with in-app erase controls, by clearing app storage, or by uninstalling the app.

5. Information processed by third parties when ads or platform services run

   When advertising or Google Play services are active, Google and its partners may process data under their own policies. This can include:

   • Advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID)
   • IP address, device and app information
   • Coarse location derived from IP
   • Ad interaction events
   • Diagnostics or crash-related data if provided through Google Play / Google libraries
   • Consent and privacy-choice signals collected through Google Privacy & messaging (Funding Choices) or similar Google tools where those tools are shown
6. Notifications

   Round Block uses local device notifications only.

   • We do not operate a push-notification server
   • We do not collect a push token for Round Block
   • If another app later uses remote push, we will describe that clearly and update this Policy before enabling it
7. Website data
   • The Site may use cookies or similar technologies for basic operation, language preference (for example a language cookie), security, and traffic measurement
   • Cloudflare or similar infrastructure providers may process IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and protect the Site

4. How we use information and legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where the EU GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the legal bases below.

Elsewhere, we process information for the purposes described and as allowed by local law.

• Provide and maintain the apps and Site

  Including language selection and local settings.

  • Legal basis: performance of a contract or steps requested by you
  • Alternatively: legitimate interests in operating a stable service
• Respond to support requests
  • Legal basis: legitimate interests
  • Where needed: steps prior to a contract
• Show advertising and measure ad performance through Google
  • Legal basis: consent where required (for example in much of the EEA/UK for non-essential cookies/ads)
  • Otherwise: legitimate interests or other bases allowed by local law
• Keep security, prevent abuse, and comply with law
  • Legal basis: legitimate interests
  • Legal basis: legal obligation
• Improve reliability and fix bugs

  Legal basis: legitimate interests (and only with analytics tools after we disclose them in this Policy).

You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based (for example via in-app consent review tools, Google’s messaging UI, or device ad settings).

Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.

5. Advertising, Round Block, and your choices

Some apps include Google AdMob.

Round Block is delivered inside a WebView and uses Google Privacy & messaging (Funding Choices) for web-style consent where Google shows those messages.

If consent tooling cannot load, Round Block is designed to keep ads off while still allowing play.

During testing, ad units may be Google test units.

When we switch to production ads, we will update this Policy and the in-app notices so they stay accurate.

Your choices:

• Review or change ad consent in the app Settings where that control is offered
• Limit personalized advertising in your device / Google account settings

6. Sharing, “sale,” and international transfers

We do not sell your personal information for money.

We do not share on-device Round Block ranks or display names with bysulee servers because we do not receive them.

We may involve the following parties:

• Service providers / platforms

  Google (Play, AdMob, Privacy & messaging, and related infrastructure) may process data as described in Google’s policies.

• Hosting / security for the Site

  Providers such as Cloudflare may process technical data to deliver pages.

• Legal

  We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

• Business changes

  If we transfer app ownership, information may transfer under appropriate safeguards and notice where required.

Google and other providers may process data in the United States or other countries.

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, those transfers rely on the mechanisms those providers use (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) as described in their documentation.

By using ads or the Site, you understand that such cross-border processing may occur.

California and similar US state laws:

• We do not sell personal information
• Independent advertising partners may process identifiers for cross-context behavioral advertising
• You can use device and Google ad controls, and you may contact us to exercise applicable rights
• We do not knowingly “sell” or “share” the personal information of consumers under 16 for targeted advertising

7. Retention

• On-device app data

  Kept until you erase it in the app, clear app storage, or uninstall.

• Support emails

  Kept only as long as needed to handle your request and ordinary record-keeping, then deleted, unless a longer period is required by law.

• Website logs / security data

  Kept for short operational periods by us or our host, unless needed longer for security or legal reasons.

• Advertising data held by Google

  Retained under Google’s policies.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a small indie studio.

• Access control and least privilege
• Keeping software reasonably updated

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Because most gameplay data stays on your phone, please protect your device with a screen lock and keep your OS updated.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing
• Withdraw consent
• Data portability
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (for example in your EU/EEA member state or the UK ICO)

For data that exists only on your device, use the in-app erase controls, system settings, or uninstall.

We may need to verify your request.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights where those laws apply.

US state privacy rights (including California):

• You may request to know, delete, or correct personal information we hold
• You may opt out of sale/sharing for targeted advertising to the extent those concepts apply to us
• Because we do not run accounts or store Round Block ranks on our servers, many requests are best completed on-device

10. Children

Our apps and Site are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the relevant standard for certain advertising rules, or under 14 where Korean rules use that age).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps, including deletion of information we control.

11. Cookies and similar technologies

• The Site may store a language preference cookie and use technologies needed for security and performance
• Apps may store local settings and, through Google, advertising identifiers and consent status
• You can control cookies in your browser and advertising preferences in your device settings
• Where required, Google’s consent message will ask for advertising-related choices before personalized ads load

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when our apps, ads, or legal requirements change.

We will post the updated version on the Site with a new “Last updated” date.

If changes materially affect your rights, we will provide additional notice where appropriate (for example in the app or on the Site).

Continued use after the effective date means you acknowledge the updated Policy, except where mandatory law requires a different standard.
